High-Rise, High-End

Opting for high-rise living has become a lasting trend especially in prime urban locations where demand exceeds supply. Places like the KLCC area, Sri Hartamas and Mont Kiara evoke images of high-end city residences towering with pride over their surroundings. Many a city dweller aspires to live in an enclave of lavish comfort, topclass amenities and pleasant neighbours.

Related to this issue’s theme of high-end, high-rise living, Home Concepts presents you with a sampling of condo interiors ranging from a highly personalised niche (Bachelor Pad, Page 78) and a tower by the sea (Seaside Panorama, Page 86) to an iconic duo in the middle of Kuala Lumpur (Double Doses of Dua, Page 56) and an upcoming residence favoured by celebrities and famous personalities (Tantalising Tiffani, Page 38).

Speaking of presidential-level accommodation, we catch a glimpse of The Lalu high up on a cliff overlooking the picturesque Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan (High Above Water, Page 94), an interesting blend of Taiwanese and Japanese style. With regards to space, economical utilisation becomes paramount especially in condos where available area is fixed. Do check out some items that help in this aspect (Space- Saving Products, Page 16). Ideas on suitable style settings are highlighted too (Up Against The Wall, Page 30 and Scheme of Things, Page 102).

We hope that the homes, styling and features presented herein will be of assistance to those seeking information about the condominium lifestyle. Of course, it is pertinent to know what to expect before committing yourself to living in a condo, in addition to being a good neighbour (Condominium Living, Page 22). Happy reading!
